5 Healthy Smoothie Recipes For Breakfast

I love breakfast smoothies and also try to find a variety of smoothie recipes here and there which easily fits my busy schedule. Above all, there is no better way to start the day with a satisfying, delicious serving of blended fruits and vegetables. As busy moms, we have to make sure that we are taking care of ourselves. So, instead of spending hours in the kitchen cooking meals, I love adding these quick smoothies into my daily nutrition routine.

Because of the nutritious ingredients like fresh fruits and veggies, you’ll give your smoothie an extra boost with antioxidants and essential vitamins without having to take supplements. It’s my everyday routine to make a few different types of smoothies before I hit for some exercises in my busy schedule. These smoothies will help balance hunger, vitality, and cravings and furthermore will keep you burning fat all day long!

These five Smoothie recipes are simple and can be easily incorporated in daily routine. All you need is fruits and a high powered blender. So let’s get into the recipes straight away!

AVOCADO SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 avocado (chopped)
  • 2 cups spinach or kale (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 1 apple (unpeeled and chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender until reached reach the desired consistency.
  • Pour and enjoy it!

BANANA-GINGER SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
  • ¾ cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp honey

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour and enjoy it!

BANANA-BERRY SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 apple, cored and sliced
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • ½ cup raspberries

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender until smooth.
  • Pour and enjoy it!

COCONUT-MANGO SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ cup chopped frozen organic mango
  • ½ teaspoon flaked coconut (optional)
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender until reached reach the desired consistency.
  • Pour and enjoy it!

KIWI-STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 frozen strawberries
  • 1 kiwifruit, sliced
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 1½ tsp honey
  • 1¼ cup cold apple juice

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender and blend them until smooth.
  • Pour and enjoy it!

Having smoothies in breakfast is perfect for weight loss. They are also packed with nutrition and can add fresh produce to your diet and keeping you hydrated all day long without sacrificing flavor. You will love how fast one can whip them up and certainly how easy it is to clean up!
